David in "Spaced"
David appeared in first series of the Channel Four twenty-somethings sitcom, Spaced (C4, '99), with a scene-stealing performance as Ian/Vulva, a transexual performance artist, in Episode 3, Series 1 ("Art").
Synopsis of "Art"
Brian gets an invitation from old friend Vulva (David Walliams) to their show. Meanwhile Daisy has an unsucessful interview with 'Flaps' Magazine and Tim stays in the flat playing resident evil. Daisy invites herself and Tim to Vulva's show. After the show Brian chats with Vulva.

3-disk special ediotion DVD
This was released on 27th Sep (see Play.com). It includes an in-depth and specially filmed documentary featuring interviews with cast members, (including Simon Pegg, Jessica Stevenson, Nick Frost), cameo actors (Bill Bailey, David Walliams, Mark Gatiss, Reece Shearsmith) and even journalists (Boyd Hilton from Heat and the Sunday Telegraph's James Delingpole).
David is interviewed several times on the "Skip to the end" Disk 3.
Filming of Series 1 (30 mins into the documentary)
David talks about being "Vulva", working with Paul Kaye (on Dennis Pennis).
