Personal Stuff
Can you contact David for me?
No. Sorry, if you want to contact David or send him something then use the Contact page and write a letter to his agent. Matt's agent's address is there too.
David and Matt do not accept unsolicited ideas under any circumstances. They prefer to think up their own funny ideas!
Can I get David's autograph?
Yes. Write to him at his agent's address on the Contact page and you should recieve an autograph in about 4 weeks. But this may vary if David is very busy!
Is David gay?
No. David is quoted as saying he's "70% heterosexual" and quite comfortable with his feminine side.
Has David got a girlfriend?
We have a page about constant tabloid frenzy and intrusion into David's personal life, which we keep up to date. Visit the Media Frenzy page if you really must.
Is David's surname really Williams?
Yes. David was born David Williams, but he needed to join Equity, the British union which all actors are required to join. In Equity you have to have a unique name and, as there was already a member called David Williams, David decided to use the "stage name" Walliams.
The other David Williams in Equity is a director, who is still working in Wales, and is known as Daf.
How old/tall is David?
Have a look in his biography, where it answers these questions and a lot more.
Hey, isn't David that guy who swam the English Channel?
Yes, he certainly did, in support of Sport Relief 2006. Read all about it here.
I remember a show with David in, what was it?
That'll be on David's Biography page. For more detail, take a look at David's complete list of shows, which can be found here.
Is Matt gay?
Yes. He is an out gay man. Another bacardi and coke Myfanwy...
Does Matt have a boyfriend?
Yes, Matt celebrated his civil partnership to TV producer Kevin McGee on 17th December 2006. See Matt's biography for further info.
Matt seems a bit young to be bald?
Matt suffers from a condition known as alopecia, which is thought to have been caused by him being hit by a car as a child - all his hair fell out shortly afterwards. He doesn't even have eyebrows, making him a perfect blank canvas for wigs and makeup.
Little Britain stuff
Why is Dennis Waterman so small?
There is no reason other than it's funny. Dennis Waterman is a TV star in the UK, most famous for the TV show "Minder". He's normal-sized in real life, but when Matt met him at a party he noticed he looked smaller than he did on TV. Thus the sketch was born. Dennis himself remains confused by it all.
How many series of Little Britain are there?
There are three full series so far, plus a double-Christmas special in 2006 called Little Britain Abroad. Find out lots about all of them on our Little Britain pages.
What about the special Comic Reliefs version of Little Britain?
There was a Comic Relief 2005 mini-episode and a Comic Relief live show, both released on DVD. The live show was also shown as part of 2007 Red Nose Day on BBC One.
Will the Christmas Special 2006 be released on DVD.
There is no information about this as yet, but we hope so!
How can I get tickets to watch Little Britain being recorded?
A few lucky people get to see Little Britain recorded for free when some sketches are filmed in front of a live studio audience. Keep an eye out for tickets on the BBC site but they usually go very quickly.
How can I see Matt and David touring their Live show?
Little Britain Live toured the UK and Australia from 2005-2007. There are no plans for any more shows at the moment. You can buy a DVD of Little Britain Live. See details in our Shop.
Matt and David occasionally do one-off live dates such as Drugathon and Cream of British Comedy, and Matt sometimes does stand up as Sir Bernard. The Cream of British Comedy sketches are an extra on the Little Britain DVD.

Matt and David have signed a deal with the BBC for a mainstream Saturday night show for BBC One, probably for autumn 2007. It will have some Little Britain characters in it but may not be called Little Britain.
Will there be a Little Britain Film?
Matt has now confirmed that there is no Little Britain Film in development, although both Matt and David have said before that they'd like to do a film - read all about it here.

Vintage Lucas and Walliams
Where can I get a Rock Profile DVD or Video?
The full Rock Profile DVD is now available.
A "best of" compilation is on the Little Britain Series 1 DVD.
You can also watch the constant repeats on the satellite TV channels UKG2 and VH1.
What about Sir Bernard's Stately Homes... ?
You can't buy it. Digital TV Channel Paramount Comedy/2 sometimes repeat these 10 min short episodes. Keep your eye out!
And I don't suppose Mash and Peas... or Asylum?
You're right! They aren't availble on DVD or video and there are no plans to repeat them. Some of the members on the forum have video copies but if you ask them for one they'll probably say no. They're mean like that. There are small clips of both on the Spaced Collector's Edition DVD.
You can download some of Mash and Peas from YouTube and Asylum is available periodically from UK Nova.
Fan Forum
On the Forum, what does RQG mean? I notice a few of you have it at the end of your posts.
It stands for Random Quote Generator and it is simply a way that you can quote something from Little Britain (or anywhere!) at the end of your post.
