"Help... me! "

David Walliams starred in a BBC film called "Capturing Mary" by writer and director Stephen Poliakoff, originally broadcast on BBC Two on 12th November 2007.

He featured alongside Maggie Smith and Ruth Wilson playing Greville White , “a subtly evil man” who feigns friendship but brings about destruction instead. Smith, 71, plays Mary, a once-brilliant writer and critic who is reflecting on her younger self and is haunted by the memory of Walliams’ character Greville. The BBC2 film was shot in central London in 2007, along with a sister drama for BBC1. Both are set in the same grand, empty house frozen in time. The narratives in the two films are told through the eyes of teenager Joe (Danny Lee Wynter), son of the cleaner of the house. The films were made for US network HBO.
