David embarked on a more serious acting career as designer Jake Plaskow in the BBC 2 TV show 'Attachments' over two series (2000-2002). The drama focusing on the fortunes of fledgling dot-com company called "Seethru" (which has it's own spoof web site here).

The official Attachments site is run by World Productions.

Where can I see it?

There are three attachments videos (VHS, PAL) available to buy, which cover series 1. Sadly, Series 2 was never released on video.

There is also a novel of the first series called "On the edge" by Rupert Smith. The novel tells the story of the first series in diary form, alternatively by the characters of Lucy and Jake (David Walliams). Smith does a very good job of capturing the spirit of the series as well as the character traits. An excellent read.

You can buy both of these items from our shop.

Press

World Productions have two fantastic audio interviews, two video interviews and pictures as well as another great interview.

You can read a review on Attachements from Rainbownetwork.

Heat interviewed David in Nov 2002 where David was concerned that his fans would be obsessed with the episodes where he shows his bottom. Here is the bum shot for anyone who wants to study it!

Heat also reviewed two episodes during November and December.

The sun also did a review at the start of the second series.
