About this site

This idea for this site came about in 2003 after the demise of Andrea's Lucas and Waliams site. We thought there should be a place where David (and Matt's) work could be archived. The site started as a free-hosted site, but very soon we realised that we needed our own domain and davidwalliams.com was born.

Recently, as David has become more famous, we ran into some legal problems with using David's name as our title. Things looked a bit shakey until David and his agent stepped in and saved the site, paying for our new home!

So, on 24th February 2005, just as the old site hit half a million visitors, Davidwalliamsfans.com was born. And it looks like we're here to stay!
